Executive recruitment company Monroe Consulting Group Indonesia is recruiting on behalf of one of the world’s leading medical devices companies. Our respected client is seeking a marketing professional, preferably with at least 5 years’ experience with a multinational pharmaceutical or consumer goods company, for the job of Marketing Manager. The job is based in Jakarta, Indonesia.
Key job responsibilities include:
- Responsible for developing and executing against Marketing Plans that ensure delivery of short or medium-term turnover (1-3 years impact), volume and market share goals based on a deep understanding of the cluster markets.
- Development and delivery of a marketing and promotional plan to include exhibitions, collaterals, website, sponsorship i.e. charities, honorariums editorials etc.
- Drive and support a planned execution of marketing plans through a well-designed cluster or country marketing and sales strategy
- Gain deep understanding of customers’ product utilization, needs and insights
- Travels in field to better understand product utilization & competitive intelligence directly from market, customers and sales representatives
- Serve as cluster or country experts for competitive market analysis and competitive intelligence
- Establish cluster and/or country customer insights. Collect customer feedback and suggest improvements to the Indonesian Marketing group
- Collaborate with the Indonesian network of product experts, driving commercial success
- Routine 2-way communication with the Indonesian marketing group or cluster as to status and timelines for new product launches, market needs other commercial implications
- Develop marketing and sales materials, consistent with product strategies that can be implemented on a cluster or country scale, working through the marketing services department for delivery of consistency, cost-effectiveness and template sharing.
- Participate in or contribute to regional business marketing planning process
- Recommend segmentation, value proposition development, product positioning, pricing strategy, branding strategy, channel strategy, communication strategy
- Analysis of the market place and ROI and tracking of KPI’s and leading business indicators as defined
- Collaborate with all other key stakeholders to ensure successful execution of marketing plans
- Contribute as a cluster or country marketing expert and be an active member of the Indonesian marketing team
- Liaise and attend meetings with other company functions necessary to perform duties and aid business and organizational development and expertise
- Support New product introduction
- Co-operate with commercial colleagues to provide inputs on new product forecasts
- Ability to build, develop, and lead a team
- Knows how to set up two–way communication and collaboration with regional marketing teams and with cross-functional teams in order to get business results
- Demonstrated ability of working in a fast-paced, matrix organization that needs to react quickly to changing market demands
- High level of comfort with interpreting and communicating complex technical information including statistics and clinical concepts
- Novel and creative ways to find solutions to problems
- Keen for new experience, responsibility and accountability
- Entrepreneurial drive: Comfortable to navigate in uncharted territories
- Customer-oriented, autonomous and reliable work attitude
- Familiarity with diagnostic industry practices
- Fluency in English
